digital marketing intern
Savvy with the internet? ReThinc Advertising is looking for a motivated person to join as our digital marketing intern. Joining our family means you’re driven, willing to work hard, and open to expanding your skill sets.
As a digital marketing intern, you will have many ‘real’ responsibilities. These include social media, content creation, SEO, email marketing, data analysis, research, and reporting.
Note – this is an in person position, so dust off the business casual attire.
The ideal intern is easy going, smart, and looking for a career in digital media. We also seek someone who is detail-oriented and a highly creative thinker.
*Major bonus points for having a strong understanding of current social media outlets such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, as well as Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
duties & responsibilities
Create content for blogs, websites, customer personas, email newsletters, social media, and other marketing resources for ReThinc and our clients
Brainstorm and research content ideas
Assist in the development, implementation, and management of email-marketing efforts
Provide copy support for the digital department in areas including SEO, basic website management, social media, and digital ad campaigns
Work with various individuals throughout the organization to support the crafting of written messages to a wide variety of audiences
Build positive relationships with clients

Strong writing, editing, and copywriting abilities
Idea generation and research skills
Basic understanding of marketing and consumer behavior
Familiarity with WordPress and email marketing software
Willingness to learn and improve skills on a regular basis
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite (*Adobe Products a plus)
