Re501(c)(3)

There are many things that I appreciate about my peers in marketing and media. They are truly a generous lot that donate their time, money, and energy to a wide array of charitable endeavors. I feel as though we, as an industry, embrace the importance of corporate responsibility in a big way.

At ReThinc, we want to make our 10th year in business one where we make some important changes to how we operate. One of the first things to be implemented this year is formalizing our charitable giving efforts.

It’s no secret that we love dogs. This past month we had one of our most successful Rescue Rinses to date. It’s due to the amazing support we get from our family, friends, and corporate sponsors. Thanks to your efforts nearly 200 dogs will get their shots, 100 dogs will have enough food to fill their bellies for a month, or 50 dogs will be spayed or neutered to prevent more unwanted puppies that end up in our pounds.

We feel that our furry friends give us a ton of unrequited love so anything we can do for them in return is always a positive. All that being said, we tend to put our charitable efforts into that one very deserving bucket.

Beginning in the 2nd quarter of this year, we plan on making a change to how we serve the community we are so fortunate to live and work in. Our fantastic designers, with the support of our extraordinary digital team, is “remodeling” the ReThinc website to include a page that will facilitate submissions from charitable organizations for free design support from our agency. Any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization can seek assistance with their design project at any time.

Each quarter, we’ll take on as much work as we can to support any 501(c)(3) organization that is working to improve the lives of others. We will endeavor to back that work by volunteering our time to that charity to deepen the impact we have. When it’s appropriate or needed we may ask our friends and partners to join in.

If you know of a deserving charitable organization that could use a little help, let them know that we’ll be looking for submissions starting in May that we can fulfill with any extra time we are afforded in our day to day work.

At ReThinc, we’re grateful for the ability to exceed the marketing needs of our clients and we look forward to doing the same for our community.
