Zona was adopted as a puppy from the Arizona Humane Society down in Tucson. She began her career as a stay-at-home dog learning all the essential commands like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘be cute’. At about age two, a position opened up in Tempe to be Erin’s guard dog. It was the opportunity of a lifetime… of love, happiness, and treats.

Hired with little to no convincing, Zona and Erin quickly became an inseparable duo. Zona quickly got promoted to help keep stress levels low when Erin started design school at Arizona State University. She could only dream of the day that Erin would find a job that allowed dogs in the workplace. Lucky for Zona (and ReThinc), Erin and Z were hired full time back in 2014 and have been with us ever since!

As ReThinc’s office dog, Zona is responsible for greeting everyone at the door with a wiggle in her tail and maybe a small bark or two. This pit bull mix works hard for the treats and particularly loves sharing your lunch as a bonus. With more toys than she can count, Zona loves to play ball or tug-of-war to help break up the workday. Although she’s often found sleeping comfortably on the job, Zona is one of ReThinc’s most influential staff members.
