Ed is a 25-year marketing, media, sales, and sponsorship veteran who is an Arizona native and a graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism (Class of ‘95). Ed began his career as an intern for Cox Media in Phoenix where he eventually worked his way up to be a local sales manager. He ultimately moved on to become General Sales Manager for Fox Sports Arizona and General Manager for IMG College at ASU.
Currently, Ed owns two businesses – Line Drive Sports Marketing and ReThinc Advertising based in Phoenix. They do business in Phoenix, Chicago, Seattle, Denver, and Las Vegas. He is an adjunct professor teaching sports marketing at ASU, a member of the Fiesta Bowl Yellow Jacket Committee, and a member of the Phoenix Police Department Use of Force Review Board.
Ed doesn’t have any free time but if he did, he would travel this world that he loves. He prefers to experience life’s adventures off the beaten track with his wife and children who are equally adventurous.
Besides traveling, Ed enjoys an early morning workout as well as a wide array of outdoor activities that include hiking, fishing, bowhunting (OK, archery… he loves animals), golf, tennis, and the occasional triathlon.
